    Hostel
 

There are two hostels, one for men and another for women students of the College. The Principal of the College shall be the warden of both and he shall appoint a deputy warden in each hostel who will be in charge of the daily administration.
Application form for admission to the hostel can be obtained from the College office. A student, if permitted to reside in the hostel, shall pay the fees in this regard at the time of admission .

Canteen
The College canteen provides light refreshments and lunch at a reasonable rate.

Language Laboratory
The college has a computerised language laboratory which caters to the need of students of English Literature in practicular and to other students in general .

Computer Lab

There is a centralised computer lab functioning in the college which caters to the needs of the students from all the departments .

Co-op store

The College houses a co-operative store inside the campus with the object of carrying out purchase and sale of text books,note books and stationery items . All students of the college and members of the staff are eligible for membership .

Ptotocopying facility is available in the Collage .

Telephone facility is avilable for students in the College .

Scholarships
 

1. Mannam Nidhi Loan Scholarship
A scholarship offered by the Nair Service Society to P.G. students whose annual income does not exceed Rs.15,000/- and who secures more than 60% marks in the qualifying examination. Application form and other details can be had from the office of the Secretary, N.S.S. Colleges' Central Committee, Perunnai, Changanacherry, Kottayam District, Kerala - 686 102

2. Kanaka Jubilee Loan Scholarship
A scholarship offered by the Nair Society to P.G. students of N.S.S Colleges alone whose annual income does not exceed Rs.15,000/- and who secures more than 60% marks in the qualifying examination. 3. Scholarship for the female students of Muslim and Nadar Community.
This scholarship is offred to female students of Musilm and Nadar community whose annual income does not exceed Rs.18,000/- The scholarship amount is Rs.125/- per annuam.

4. Kerala State Scholarship for Arts & Science Courses
This scholarship is available to students in their first year of study in various courses provided they have secured 50% and above in their qualifying examinations and the annual income of their parents does not exceed Rs.3000/-. The scholarships are awarded on merit cum means subject to the number allotted each year.

5. National Loan Scholarship
Application can be obtained from the Director of Collegiate Education, Trivandrum on payment of Rs.2/- by MO. A self addressed sufficiently stamped envelope may also be sent to the Director to get it by Regd. post. Those who have secured 50% marks and above in the qualifying examination may apply for this in their first year of study.

6. National Merit Scholarships and National Scholarship to children of school teachers.

7. Scholarship to non-Hindi speaking state

8. Scholarship to Physically Handicapped Students

9. University Merit Scholarship
Students who get highest marks in their qualifying examination are eligible for the university merit scholarship.

10. NSS Scholarship
Deatils will be published in the college notice board each year.

11. Prof.T.V.K.Kurup Endowment
An endowment is instituted in History Department in the name of Prof.T.V.K.Kurup who retired from the college in 1993. The student of final year B.A. History who secures the highest marks in the University examination will be awarded the endowment every year.

   
     
Students
Aid Funds

 

There is a students' Aid Fund in the college. A committee consisting of the Principal as Chairman and ex-officio treasurer, one teacher nominated by the Principal, one member nominated by the Principal from among the non teaching staff, the Collge Union Chairman and the College Union Vice-Chairman shall be constituted every year. The committee shall invite applications and select deserving students from the applicants for the award of the Aid Fund. The decision of the Committee in the above matters shall be final.
